Tasha

Blending her drum & bass roots with deep affinity for techno, Tasha has forged a sound entirely her own - impossible to confine to either genre. Early support from DJ Flight on BBC 1Xtra and a residency at DJ Storm’s Feline night established her in the scene. Raving at London’s techno nights and working behind the counter at BM Soho deepened her love for the sound - an influence that has filtered into her DJ sets and radio shows, including her long-running Rinse FM residency, which she has held since 2009.
Her sets flow seamlessly from UK bass roots through 4x4 techno, broken beat, and D&B rollers. Whether it’s a peak or closing slot at Berghain, a Jungle masterclass at Rupture, or b2b sets with Alienata, Steffi, Ben Sims, Deetron, The Lady Machine, Skee Mask, or Josh Caffé - Tasha covers every base.
She is a resident at Open Ground and in the last year has played highlight sets at Fabric, Berghain, Nowadays NYC, FOLD, SOUNDIT and Ohm to name a few, as well as key festival moments at Glastonbury, Freerotation, Stone Techno, Outlook, Nachti, Glitch, We Out Here, Field Maneuvers and Basilar.
In 2025, Tasha celebrates 15 years of Neighbourhood - her club night and label - continuing to run parties across the UK and EU while releasing forward-thinking techno.
Tasha’s role in shaping contemporary dance music remains vital. In an era dominated by image, clicks, or social metrics, she stands firm with a ‘music first’ ethos - a dedication that has earned her the respect of peers and audiences alike.
